In line with our group policy whose aim is to make a meaningful contribution to the community that the company operates within, Golden Silence Investments (PTY) LTD has taken an initiative to manage the business processes to produce an overall positive impact on society, through its corporate social responsibility (CSR) policy.

GSI will advance and support social and economic regeneration initiatives in disadvantaged communities throughout Botswana, with more focus being in areas where the company operates. The key leverage area is to look at CSR as an investment in a strategic asset or distinctive capability, rather than an expense, in this way we hope to establish and maintain relationships of trust with community stakeholders and key publics

Some of our notable corporate social responsibilities include

• Christmas hampers for Rasesa disabled persons
• Full training gear for Gaborone United youth development team
• Ga Modubu orphanage through the Voice newspaper ( construction of Toilet)
• Old naledi Orphanage project through Mmegi ( Blankets)
• Sponsored all prizes for Oodima CJSS prize giving on the 16th October 2010.
